"Latina Looks" in celebration of Women’s History Month with the English Department, Hispanic American Student Association (HASA), LTA and MSC.
This panel presentation, featuring four Latina faculty members, follow a mock talk show with the moderator asking questions about what it means to be "Latina" - a woman of Latin American or Caribbean Hispanic background. The panelists will be "performing" Latinidad as well as exposing stereotypes about Latinas within a humorous though deliberately serious underpinning.
