Wednesday, March 19th, 10:00 - 2:00, the Big Red Bus will be located Memory Mall at the emergency management expo - come see state-of-the-art emergency response vehicles and equipment (
www.ucf.edu/KNIGHTSHARE). Come to the Bus to donate blood or just come to learn about the effects of an emergency on the local blood supply.
The Bus will also be at the Student Union from 10:30 to 4:30 on Wednesday.
To date in 2014, UCF has helped collect over 700 pints of blood - in 2013 we collected a total of 3279 units! UCF is one of the most prolific donors in our local area - and right now, every unit counts. Donations have been decreasing, while the need for blood donors is critical. Each individual donation helps save 3 lives within our local hospitals through the use of platelets, plasma, and red blood cells. Thank you for your support, UCF!
All blood types are currently needed. Please remember to bring a photo I.D. and eat and drink water prior to attending the blood drive.
