Dr. Stephen Kuebler, Department of Chemistry, Optics & Photonics will kick-off Student Research Week with a presentation about some of the exciting aspects of science, engineering, and technology which brought him to a career in teaching and research. He will describe some of the scientific challenges he encountered during his training. He will also highlight current research topics he and his students investigate in the area of nano-photonics, a dynamic and growing field positioned at the interface of chemistry, material science, physics, optics, and medicine.
