: An Allies Advance is a workshop for UCF faculty, staff and students who have an interest in becoming a member of the Allies Program. The purpose of the advance is to raise awareness of the LGBTQ community; to raise awareness of the way homophobia effects everyone; to explore ways Allies on campus can support the LGBTQ community and each other; and provide an opportunity for participants to become an Ally.
