October is National Disability Awareness Month so Student Disability Services is presenting a series of events. The Inclusive Disability Awareness Program highlights a series of events, with Marcus Engel as the series featured speaker. After being blinded and severely injured by a drunk driver, Marcus Engel overcame unimaginable obstacles to return to college and reclaim his life. His extraordinary story of recovery after being blinded and catastrophically injured by a drunk driver challenges individuals to achieve success by making intelligent choices. Marcus Engel's unforgettable message of overcoming adversity will inspire individuals maximize their potential to achieve their dreams, to eliminate self-limiting behaviors, and to view their obstacles as opportunities.
