CEU Program: Case Management Academy
The UCF School of Social Work, in partnership with the Central Florida Commission on Homelessness and Heart of Florida United Way, is offering a Case Management Academy designed to enhance the knowledge and skills of case managers. The academy provides 40 hours of continuing education approved by the Florida Board of Clinical Social Work, Marriage and Family Therapy, and Mental Health Counseling. (CEUs for Nursing are pending.) Individuals who work in the field of case management and/or perform case management activities are eligible to participate. The enrollment fee is $350. Space is limited. The academy takes place from 8 a.m. to 5 p.m. over five consective Fridays: March 15 and 22, and April 5, 12 and 19. Attendance at all five sessions is required. Oral Communication in Academia Series: Professional Communication

This drop-in workshop helps students develop skills in coping with anxious thoughts, feelings, and behaviors. Students will learn about myths and realities of anxiety and develop practical skills that they can use. This is a recurring workshop on Fridays 12:00 - 1:00 pm during spring semester. Discover ways to enhance your relationship and intimacy. Learn your love language, and explore how to keep the butterflies alive in your relationship. Combine your love language with practical ways to express your love! This workshop will focus on assisting couples to understand each other’s unique needs and “speak” each other’s love language using the Five Love Languages* model which include: Words of Affirmation, Quality time, Gifts, Act of Services, and Physical Touch. • MUST be at least 18 years old to participate.
