UCF Music presents a free clinic on how to prepare for the Florida Bandmasters Association 2015 All-State Band and Jazz Band audition and the Florida Orchestra Association 2015 All-State Orchestra audition.
The clinic is FREE, but pre-registration is required.
UCF applied music faculty and guest instrumentalists will offer clinics on FBA 2015 All-State Band requirements for 7-8, 9-10, and 11-12 grades as well as Jazz Band requirements for 9-10 and 11-12 grades
Emphasis will be placed on All-State exercise preparation, tone production, technique development, scales, sight-reading strategies, and audition readiness
Students should bring instruments, All-State music, and be prepared to play
UCF will provide all the percussion instruments. Students are required to bring their sticks, mallets and music.
