We will discuss and plan initiatives that can offer support to faculty who are trying to balance life and work in the challenging circumstances of a long distance relationship. Jeanette graduated from the University of Kansas with degrees in Journalism and Communication Studies. She worked in corporate marketing for about 5 years while also studying the art of fashion. In trying to bridge the gap between what is seen in fashion magazines and real life, Jeanette found her blog to be a successful platform. Now the full time blogger and everyday fashion expert will be sharing her story.

There will be a Victim Impact Panel on April 14, 2014 at 1:00pm in Student Union 218D. The panel will consists of individuals who have been affected by drunk driving.

The Multicultural Student Center is proud to host European Heritage Week April 14-18, this Week is designed to recognize and celebrate the contributions of European Americans. Mr. Tim Wise, will serve as the keynote speaker for European Heritage Week on Monday, April 14th 7pm Student Union Cape Florida Ballroom. This event is free and open to the public. Mr. Tim Wise is among the most prominent anti-racist writers and educators in the United States. Recently named one of “25 Visionaries Who are Changing Your World,” by Utne Reader, Wise has spoken in all 50 states, on over 800 college and high school campuses, and to community groups across the nation. He has also lectured internationally on issues of comparative racism, race and education, racism and religion, and racism in the labor market.

The audition is broken down into 3 parts: 1) choreography taught at the audition, 2) a review of the basic belly dance movements, 3) an optional (but highly recommend) solo.

Experience the UCF Clothesline Project display throughout the month of April in the Student Union Atrium. Join Knight Advocates and UCF Victim Services on Market Days (Wednesdays 10am-2pm) in April outside the Student Union to paint a t-shirt and speak out against violence in our community. Victims, survivors, advocates, activists, anyone, everyone--all are welcome to express their emotions through this artistic outlet.
