What To Eat

Wednesday, September 23, 2015 6 p.m. to 7:30 p.m.
We’re inundated with advice on what to eat for optimum health, weight loss and disease prevention. And much of that information is contradictory, confusing or flat-out wrong.

Dr. Christopher Smith, UCF Health’s board certified specialist in family and integrative medicine, will offer advice on the foods that science has proven are the best in promoting health and preventing disease. Dr. Smith cares for patients at UCF Health, the UCF College of Medicine practice, and also serves as assistant professor of medicine at the medical school. As an integrative medicine specialist, he incorporates scientifically-based therapies like nutritional supplements and acupuncture into his care.

Dr. Smith will speak at UCF Health's new location in Medical City -- 9975 Tavistock Lakes Blvd., Orlando, FL 32827 (The clinic is located about two miles east of 417 on Narcoosee Road south of Lake Nona High School and Valencia College. We are in the blue glass building across from the Eagle Creek Subdivision.

Dr. Smith’s presentation is free but space is limited and reservations are required. Please RSVP at bit.ly/UCFHealthEat.
