September 25th will mark the third year anniversary of my mom passing away from breast cancer, and this year I have decided that I wanted to organize something in her honor. I have decided to put on a FIBA endorsed 3x3 basketball tournament at the University of Central Florida. It will be a fundraising event and all proceeds will go to the V Foundation for Cancer Research. The tournament will be a USA Basketball sanctioned qualifying tournament and the winning team will be qualified for the 3x3 National Tournament in Colorado Springs, CO in April 2017. From the National Tournament, USA Basketball 3x3 National Team players are named. There will be a $20 registration fee for participants, which will cover a jersey made by Point 3.

On event day, there will be raffle tickets available upon purchase. Prizes will range from free brunches at First Watch to a couple of Orlando Magic game tickets.
Join me in my inaugural event to honor my late mother and donate proceeds to the V Foundation. Spectators will pay a $2 fee (with a UCF ID) or $5 for non-UCF students.
