Campus Conversations: How to Have Difficult Discussions about Community Policing and Race

Monday, September 26, 2016 7 p.m. to 9 p.m.

The Division of Student Development and Enrollment Services, the Recreation and Wellness Center, The Multicultural Student Center and the UCF Police department is inviting the entire campus community to take part in a panel discussion and talk openly about racial tensions gripping our nation.

 

Campus Conversations: How to Have Difficult Discussions about Community Policing and Race is a panel discussion which gives students, faculty, staff and others a chance to discuss ideas and share thoughts in an effort to bring the community together.

 

The panel discussion will feature officers from the UCF Police Department, Edwanna Andrews the Director of UCF’s Social Justice and Advocacy department, Jim Wilkening the Executive Director of UCF’s Recreation and Wellness and 2 UCF Students. The event is open to the campus community and Knights from across campus are invited to attend.
