Monday, April 10, 2017 5 p.m. to 8 p.m.

Join us during the fifth annual Executive Ed. D. in Educational Leadership Research Symposium: A Celebration of Excellence and learn more about our doctoral students’ areas of study and research.

Doctoral and Master’s degree students and education leaders will have an opportunity to engage with doctoral candidates about their research, findings, and implications for improving leadership practice.

The event includes guest speakers Dr. Debra Pace, The School District of Osceola County Superintendent and Dr. Jesus Jara, Orange County Public Schools Deputy Superintendent, research poster displays, presentations, and a visual journey, featuring highlights of the doctoral candidates past three years, including awards, promotions, publications, presentations, and other significant milestones.

A doctoral candidate who has provided exemplary leadership from the perspective of their peers and faculty while in the cohort will be presented with the Scholar Leader Award. The award has been established to annually honor doctoral candidates in the Executive Ed. D. in Educational Leadership. The recognition also includes a $500 scholarship that may be used for defraying expenses during the last semester of enrollment.
