The second-annual Operation Giveback 5K/10K/Kids Run.Walk.Roll event will raise money for wounded warriors. Proceeds will benefit Iraq Star, which provides reconstructive surgeries to wounded military personnel; the Wounded Warrior Project; and the OGB Section 60 Making Dreams Come True, which will help to make dreams come true for the children of those killed in action.
The event will be held on campus, with the races starting at 7 a.m. UCF is one of the event's sponsors, and Lockheed Martin is the host sponsor.
Last year, more than 1,000 runners signed up, and the event raised more than $40,000 to help wounded warriors.
