We invite you to join Space Coast AlumKnights at the Space Coast Iceplex to watch our UCF Ice Hockey team slap shot the Gators back to their swamp. We are partnering with the Space Coast Gator Club once again for some friendly rivalry. Last year's game sold out well in advance due to the large fan base on both sides, so get your tickets early! Adult tickets are only $8 and children 10 and under are free.
- 1 p.m. - Tailgating begins outside in the grass field adjacent to the hockey rink. You are allowed to bring tables, tents, chairs, footballs, corn hole, soccer balls, frisbees, etc. You can also bring your own drinks and tailgating food.
- 1:30 p.m. - The UCF men's basketball team is in action against Tulsa. You can watch the game in the Penalty Box Sports Bar at the Space Coast Iceplex.
- 3 p.m. - Doors open for general admission seating; players and coaches will meet and greet hockey fans outside the tailgate.
- 3:30 p.m. - "Hockey 101 class" for fans new to the game (limited to 30 individuals). We will discuss the basic hockey rules and strategy so you can enjoy the game, even if you have never been to a hockey game before.
- 4:30 p.m. - Puck drops and the battle is on!
Seating is general admission and based on a first come first serve basis! Public skating sessions will also be held before the game from Noon-3 p.m. and after the game from 8-10:30 pm.
