Criminal Justice Lecture Featuring Rod Brunson, Ph.D.

The College of Health and Public Affairs, along with the faculty of the Department of Criminal Justice, invites you to attend an exciting and timely lecture by Rod K. Brunson, Ph.D., dean of the Rutgers University School of Criminal Justice, on April 105:30-7 p.m., at UCF's FAIRWINDS Alumni Center.

His lecture is titled "A Moment of Pause: Examining the Role of Activist Black Clergy in Deescalating Conflict and Reducing Interpersonal Violence."

Dr. Brunson will examine the role of activist black clergy in violence reduction initiatives, and the ways ministers address the complex challenges involved in doing this work.
