Engage, Reach and Elevate Gifted and Talented Learners

UCF Faculty Advocates for Gifted Education (ADAGE) in collaboration with Project ELEVATE present Gifted Education Professional Development Conference Saturday, April 22, 2017 at the Morgridge International Reading Center at UCF's College of Education and Human Performance.

This year's Keynote Speaker is Dr. Richard Cash. His greatest passion is helping teachers recognize the various talents all children possess and create learning experiences to allow those talents to flourish. Dr. Cash  is a member of several professional organizations, including the National Association for Gifted Children, the Council for Exceptional Children, and ASCD. He has authored numerous articles on quality instructional practices and a popular teacher resource guide, Advancing Differentiation: Thinking and Learning for the 21st Century. He co-authored the book Differentiation for Gifted Learners: Going Beyond the Basics with Dr. Diane Heacox. His newest book, Self-Regulation in the Classroom: Helping Students Learn How to Learn, was released in March 2016.
