Living Shoreline Stabilization

De Soto National Memorial
8300 De Soto Memorial Highway
Bradenton, Fl 34209

August 12-13
9 a.m. -1 p.m.

This is a family-friendly event for anyone interested in helping to stabilize highly eroded shorelines, due to Hurricane Matthew and boat wakes, within this national park.  All ages can help move shell bags into place and plant mangroves and marshgrass - all to make our national park shorelines more climate change resilient.  All have been previously produced or maintained in nurseries by K-12 schools througout central Florida.
