UCF Black History Month Opening Ceremony

Monday, February 4, 2013 noon to 1 p.m.
On Feb 4, 2013 at 12:00 p.m., we will start the month of February with a university-wide Opening Ceremony. This event will kick off the celebration of Black History Month at UCF. During the month, we hope to recognize, celebrate and salute the accomplishments of Black Americans. Various offices and departments at UCF have put together programs, presentations, speakers and events to showcase and educate our community on these accomplishments. One of the goals of our illustrious university is to promote diversity and inclusiveness in our community and it is our hope that these events will open the door to valuing all of the accomplishments of members of our community. Please show your support by attending the events. An updated schedule of the events may be found at http://events.ucf.edu/black-history-month-

We hope that you will join us as we kick off the month dedicated to celebrating Black Americans at the UCF Black History Month Opening Ceremony on Monday, February 4, 2013 in the UCF Student Union, Key West Ball Room at 12:00 p.m.
