Field of Memories - Be Aware, Show You Care

Wednesday, September 27, 2017 9 a.m. to 3 p.m.

The Field of Memories - Be Aware, Show You Care Flag Exhibit is a powerful and poignant visual display representing the 1,100 suicides that occur on U.S. college campuses each year. Students participate in the event by personalizing a flag to show their support, their increased awareness, or to honor a memory of someone lost to suicide. At Memory Mall, hundreds of students can stop by the table, pick up a flag and share their message throughout the day. Their stories can be personal and emotional of how they had been impacted by someone in their life either contemplating suicide, completed suicide, or they can share a message of hope to those who are struggling with depression. To those who participate, this exhibit can represent hope and healing.
