Free Family Event Open to the Public

In this free family event open to the public, faculty and students from UCF will lead two hands-on events for all ages to emphasize the importance of Florida's coast, especially the Indian River Lagoon.

Two activities:

  • Mini-drone obstacle course over a simulated coastal community.  Participants will have the opportunity to fly the mini-drones.
  • Oyster storytelling yoga* where we combine information on estuarine biological diversity with yoga poses designed to help you with both flexibility and remembering the importance of our keystone species.

 * If participating in yoga, bring yoga mat and water bottle
