An often overlooked component of developing faculty is assisting faculty in thinking through their long-term career plans and professional goals (i.e., beyond promotion and tenure). This session will focus on specific ways, resources (including resources developed for the Associate Professor Mentoring Communities), and tools that Department Chairs and School Directors can use to facilitate discussions with and coach faculty toward their long-term goals.
