Exhibit Introduction: African American Military History A LEGACY OF HONOR AND VALOR!

Join us for an exhibit introduction presented by the Buffalo Soldiers Historical Society. Mr. Joe Tillmon, President of the Jacksonville Chapter of the Buffalo Soldiers Historical Society will share information and
insight on the exhibit, which will be on display in the John C. Hitt Library at the University of Central Florida until February 28.


The primary mission of the Buffalo Soldiers Historical Society is to preserve, promote and perpetuate the history of African-American military units from the 1775 to 1951. This mission is accomplished by conducting presentations and educational awareness programs in Central and Northeast Florida.
