Guest speaker Kaushik Rajashekara, Ph.D., Distinguished Professor, Electrical and Computer Engineering, University of Houston, will discuss the emerging trend in the aerospace industry to move as many aircraft loads as possible to electrical power. This presentation examines the electric architectures now used in aircraft and proposes new architectures based on AC and DC power distribution systems.
