This Annual Research Week Kickoff Event titled Tales from the Pegasus's Side, will feature keynote speaker Dr. Charles (Chuck) Dziuban as well as poster displays by UCF Postdoctoral Scholars.

Dr. Dziuban is the not only the first speaker for this inaugural event, but he was also named UCF’s first ever Pegasus Professor in the year 2000 for extraordinary research, teaching, and service.

Dr. Dziuban is currently the Director of the Research Initiative for Teaching Effectiveness at UCF. He has been a UCF faculty member since 1970 teaching research design and statistics and is the founding director of the university’s Faculty Center for Teaching and Learning. Since 1996, he has directed the impact evaluation of UCF’s distributed learning initiative examining student and faculty outcomes as well as gauging the impact of online, blended and lecture capture courses on the university.
