The University of Central Florida College of Medicine’s Orthopedics and Sports Medicine Interest Group (OSMIG) will be hosting their first “Professional Sports All-Star Panel” to raise awareness and interest in sports medicine and orthopedics in the greater Orlando area.
The panel will include a star-studded group of sports medicine specialists and professional athletes who will share insight into their personal experiences with sports injuries, training, and answer questions from the audience.
The “Professional Sports All-Star Panel” will feature, Dr. Gideon J. Lewis (UCF alumnus, sports medicine physician and foot & ankle surgeon, Justin Gatlin (Olympic gold-medalist sprinter), Kawika Mitchell (Super Bowl XLII Champion with the New York Giants), Keon Weise (Orlando Magic Head Athletic Trainer), and a surprise Orlando Magic basketball player.
