Seminar Series: Understanding and Managing Prediabetes

Wednesday, October 22, 2014 9 a.m. to 10 a.m.
People diagnosed with prediabetes have blood glucose levels that are higher than normal, but not high enough to classify as diabetes. Fortunately for most people, the progression to full-blown diabetes can be prevented with healthy lifestyle changes—from carb counting to pharmacological options. Come learn more about prediabetes and medically-proven strategies that may reverse the diagnosis.

This session will be conducted by Joyce Paulson,M.D., board-certified in internal medicine. Dr. Paulson treats patients at UCF Pegasus Health and is an assistant professor at the UCF College of Medicine.
