The Doctor of Physical Therapy program will hold a free outdoor event to encourage physical activity in children with a developmental disability. "Let's Ignite! Building Better Bodies" will be held at UCF's Memory Mall, across from the UCF Arena. Children must be 5 to 18 years old and accompanied by a parent or caregiver to participate.
The event will include music, games, sports and other activities that are modified to be appropriate for the child and still improve fitness. Playing alongside the children will be UCF students working toward a doctorate in physical therapy. A faculty adviser also will be present.
