Hack@UCF Introductory Meeting

Friday, September 4, 2015 4:30 p.m. to 6 p.m.
Greetings fellow hackers!

I hope you are as excited about the first meeting of the semester as we are! Join us this Friday (Sept. 4) at 4:30 pm in ENG2-102 for a series of lightning talks designed to introduce the topics of steganography, web application security, and video game security. We will also review current events in the world of infosec, provide general club information, and reveal a series of hands-on workshops we are planning to host throughout the semester.

If you are interested in joining our competitive Capture the Flag team (Knightsec) or our national champion Collegiate Cyber Defense Competition Team (CCDC), important information will also be shared during this meeting. Membership dues are once again $10 for the academic year. This year we are able to include a free shirt thanks to our sponsors! All current UCF students are eligible, so be sure to sign up if you want one!*

* As always, meetings are open to the general public. If you're curious about information security and want to learn with us, come visit! Read More
