Grammy Nominee and GQ ‘Rapper of the Year’ Kendrick Lamar will be performing live at CFE Arena on Sunday, April 20 at 8:00pm. Doors will open at 7pm.
A native of Compton, California, Kendrick Lamar’s first claim to fame came after the release of his fourth mixtape “Overly Dedicated” in 2010, followed by his critically acclaimed independent album “Section.80” in 2011. The release of his first major label album “good kid, m.A.A.d city” in 2012 secured his status as a platinum artist, and lead to his to seven Grammy nominations. He was also named GQ’s ‘Rapper of the Year’ and MTV’s number 1 ‘Hottest MC in the Game’. Lamar is rumored to release his second album later in 2014.
