World of Wines - Benefitting UCF's United Way Campaign

This is an Introduction to the World of Wines highlighting the basic grape types and the wines they make. Enjoy a one-hour seminar into the complex world of wine. Taste three reds and three whites and learn about the grapes and complexities of Chardonnays, Sauvignon Blancs, Rieslings, Malbecs, Pinot Noirs and Cabernet Sauvignons. This seminar is a great opportunity for the novice or the sophisticated wine lover. The intimate atmosphere of our world class wine lab will leave you feeling like you had a one-on-one experience with one of the finest wine instructors in the South. Dr. David Black has served as an instructor and lecturer at the UCF Rosen College of Hospitality Management since 2009. Black has more than 30 years of experience in fine wine and spirits, including an intensive, five-year Master of Wine Program, studying viticulture, winery techniques, business, blind tasting and evaluation. He has also traveled extensively to major wine regions in France, Italy, Germany, Spain and California.
