Knights Observe the Moon Night (Brought to you by UCF's Robinson Observatory)

Saturday, November 1, 2014 6:30 p.m. to 8:30 p.m.
"International Observe the Moon Night" is a global astronomy outreach event when people all over the world gaze upon our nearest celestial neighbor. UCF was going to participate in this event on its original day, September 6th, but we were clouded out. So we're having a make-up date just for UCF — hence, "Knights Observe the Moon Night!" Again, weather permitting, we will have telescopes pointing at the Moon for you to see the topography of lunar mountains, craters, and lava plains in exquisite detail. We will also have demonstrations and activities for the kids. Please check the Robinson Observatory webpage or the RO Facebook page by 5 p.m. on the day of the event to be sure that weather will let us hold the event.
