Trip Description: Come bike through the pine scrub and oak hammock habitats near the Wekiva River. Markham Woods trail offers winding paths through forested areas providing beautiful views, and the thrill of riding along the Econlockhatchee River. With gear and instruction provided this trip is a good introduction for anyone looking to try mountain biking for the first time.
What’s Included: All of our adventure trips include all necessary gear for the activity and professional guiding by OA Trip Leaders. Participants should wear athletic clothing, appropriate footwear and bring personal water/snacks.
Transportation is not provided; participants must meet Trip Leaders at the location. Participants must wear a face covering.

]]>To support the needs of PreK-12 educators during this unprecedented time, the UCF Literacy Symposium is offering an Express virtual event on Literacy Engagement and Socio-Emotional Learning for educators, parents, literacy friends, and advocates. This series of timely, live, interactive, and professional learning sessions will be offered virtually each month for free to registered participants.

Session Description: This presentation will provide participants with the opportunity to explore strategies to cope with the socioemotional impact of being a new educator in today’s educational contexts. (Audience: Grades PreK-12)

]]>Smith is a Black, queer, poz writer and performer from St. Paul, MN. Their books include "Don’t Call Us Dead" (Graywolf Press, 2017), winner of the Forward Prize for Best Collection, the Midwest Booksellers Choice Award, and a finalist for the National Book Award, and "[insert] boy" (YesYes Books, 2014), winner of the Kate Tufts Discovery Award and the Lambda Literary Award for Gay Poetry. Smith is a member of the Dark Noise Collective and is the co-host of VS with Franny Choi, a podcast sponsored by the Poetry Foundation and Postloudness. Their third collection, "Homie," was published by Graywolf in January 2020.
