The first weekend encompasses the classroom work and practice dives in the pool. The first weekend includes Friday night, all day Saturday, and all day Sunday. For the second weekend, students will pick either all day Saturday or Sunday to complete the Open Water Dives. Please note: Spring 2022 dates include open water dive weekends in the following month; you must attend both weekends to complete your training.

Open Water Dives
The second weekend of the certification will be when the students can complete their open water dives. These dives take place either at Devil’s Den, Blue Grotto, or Blue Heron Bridge. This is a full-day commitment. Transportation is not included.
