DESCRIPTION:The Pathways 2026: The Carlos Malamud Prize exhibition is a collaborative partnership between the UCF Art Gallery and the [Rollins Museum of Art](https://www.rollins.edu/rma/exhibitions/pathways-carlos-malamud-prize/), celebrating emerging professional artists across Florida. Juried by a panel of three art professionals, this year's exhibition features six artists with diverse practices, spanning a wide range of media, themes, and perspectives.\n\nWorks by all six finalists will be shown at both venues, creating opportunities to engage with two major academic communities. These works reflect the memories, experiences, relationships, communities and values that create one's sense of self.\n\nThe Albin Polasek Museum and Sculpture Gardens is honored to partner with UCF SVAD to present this exhibition, continuing the legacy of its founder, Albin Polasek, whose dedication to arts education has influenced generations of artists. DESCRIPTION:Maximize your undergraduate experience at UCF by participating in the Honors Undergraduate Thesis (HUT) program. Join us to learn more.\n\nThe HUT program allows juniors and seniors from all disciplines to conduct original, independent research as principal investigators. Over the course of two to four semesters, students work closely with a faculty committee to research, write, defend and publish an original thesis that serves as an honors capstone product of their undergraduate career. In this hands-on workshop, participants will explore strategies for presenting information through timelines and data-driven narratives while building their own projects. These tools can be used to communicate research, showcase historical events, document projects, and create engaging stories for a variety of academic and professional purposes. TimelineJS (https://timeline.knightlab.com) and StorylineJS (https://storyline.knightlab.com) both use Google Sheets to organize content, so participants should have access to a Google account before attending.\n\nPlease bring a laptop to follow along and create your own timeline during the workshop.
