The HUT program allows juniors and seniors from all disciplines to conduct original, independent research as principal investigators. This thesis is published through the university library and is available to researchers worldwide through electronic databases.

These information sessions cover the Honors Thesis eligibility requirements, program benefits and an overview of the steps to complete an Honors Undergraduate Thesis/creative project.

RSVP is required at least one hour before the start time. The Zoom link and information will be sent to your UCF email account upon registration.

Important: RSVP and sign in using your UCF SSO Zoom account (with your full name and official UCF email) before opening the meeting link so your attendance can be recorded and a follow-up email can be sent to your email account.

Learn how to create interactive digital stories using the free tools TimelineJS and StorylineJS. In this hands-on workshop, participants will explore strategies for presenting information through timelines and data-driven narratives while building their own projects. These tools can be used to communicate research, showcase historical events, document projects, and create engaging stories for a variety of academic and professional purposes. TimelineJS (https://timeline.knightlab.com) and StorylineJS (https://storyline.knightlab.com) both use Google Sheets to organize content, so participants should have access to a Google account before attending.

Please bring a laptop to follow along and create your own timeline during the workshop. Participants are welcome to bring photos or other media they would like to incorporate into their projects. The workshop will also cover finding and using copyright-friendly images and media resources.
