Register for this trip in the UCF Recreation Wellness Center (RWC) app or through the UCF RWC Membership Portal website. All trips are now first-come, first-served. All trips will open two weeks before the first day of the trip. If the trip is full, you can register for the waitlist using the link above. 

Pre-Trip Date & Time: Wednesday, July 15, at 6 p.m.

Trip Description: Stand up and paddle! This summer's stand-up paddleboarding trip will take you to one of Central Florida's beautiful waterways for a day on the water. With guidance from Outdoor Adventure (OA) trip leaders, you'll learn or refine your stand-up paddleboarding skills while taking in the scenery and soaking up the Florida sunshine. Location details will be shared at the pre-trip meeting. 

What's Included: All of our adventures include all necessary gear for the activity (including SUPs, paddles, and PFDs) and professional guidance by OA trip leaders. All staff are certified in First Aid/CPR/AED, and most are certified Wilderness First Responders. 

What's Not Included: Participants should wear athletic clothing, appropriate footwear and bring personal lunch/water/snacks. Meals are not provided. A full packing list will be provided at the pre-trip meeting. 

Tentative Itinerary (time and activities are subject to change): 

  • 8 a.m. – Arrive at the Outdoor Adventure Center and travel to the paddle location 
  • 9:30 a.m. – Arrive at the launch and prep SUPs 
  • 10 a.m.–2:30 p.m. – Paddle and explore 
  • 3 p.m. – Load gear and travel back to UCF 
  • 4:30 p.m. – Arrive at the Outdoor Adventure Center and debrief

en-US UCF School of Visual Arts and Design (SVAD) Juried Exhibition

Celebrating the creativity of our community’s emerging artists, this juried exhibition features work by graduate and undergraduate students from the UCF School of Visual Arts and Design.

Through a diverse range of techniques and materials, including painting, drawing, sculpture and mixed media, the selected works offer personal explorations of identity. These works reflect the memories, experiences, relationships, communities and values that create one’s sense of self.

The Albin Polasek Museum and Sculpture Gardens is honored to partner with UCF SVAD to present this exhibition, continuing the legacy of its founder, Albin Polasek, whose dedication to arts education has influenced generations of artists. In that spirit, the museum remains committed to supporting emerging talent by providing a platform for new voices and creative expression.
