DESCRIPTION:The Mathematical Exploration Summer Institute is a one-week program for high school students interested in mathematical exploration beyond the high school curriculum. The program will offer hands-on activities, group work and lectures given by local professors at UCF. Participants will learn about exciting mathematics, discover new arguments and explain insights to their peers. Throughout the program, not only will participants engage in deep exploration of mathematics and develop as mathematicians, but they'll also be immersed in a community of others who share their mathematical talent and curiosity. Rising 11th and 12th-graders are welcome to apply. DESCRIPTION:The Pathways 2026: The Carlos Malamud Prize exhibition is a collaborative partnership between the UCF Art Gallery and the [Rollins Museum of Art](https://www.rollins.edu/rma/exhibitions/pathways-carlos-malamud-prize/), celebrating emerging professional artists across Florida. Juried by a panel of three art professionals, this year's exhibition features six artists with diverse practices, spanning a wide range of media, themes, and perspectives.\n\nWorks by all six finalists will be shown at both venues, creating opportunities to engage with two major academic communities. DESCRIPTION:This group meets every Monday, excluding campus closures/holidays.\n\nMeeting is OPEN to all UCF students, faculty, staff, and community members.\n\nSelf Management And Recovery Training (SMART Recovery) is an evidenced-informed recovery method grounded in Rational Emotive Behavioral Therapy (REBT) and Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), that supports people with substance dependencies or problem behaviors to:\n\n  1. Build and maintain motivation\n  2. Cope with urges and cravings\n  3. Manage thoughts, feelings and behaviors\n  4.
