en-US The Mathematical Exploration Summer Institute is a one-week program for high school students interested in mathematical exploration beyond the high school curriculum. The program will offer hands-on activities, group work and lectures given by local professors at UCF. Participants will learn about exciting mathematics, discover new arguments and explain insights to their peers. Throughout the program, not only will participants engage in deep exploration of mathematics and develop as mathematicians, but they'll also be immersed in a community of others who share their mathematical talent and curiosity. en-US The Pathways 2026: The Carlos Malamud Prize exhibition is a collaborative partnership between the UCF Art Gallery and the Rollins Museum of Art, celebrating emerging professional artists across Florida. Juried by a panel of three art professionals, this year’s exhibition features six artists with diverse practices, spanning a wide range of media, themes, and perspectives.

Works by all six finalists will be shown at both venues, creating opportunities to engage with two major academic communities. One artist will receive a $10,000 prize, a solo exhibition in 2027, and the opportunity to serve as a juror for the next edition, along with additional professional development support.

Pathways is designed to nurture emerging artists and provide a meaningful path forward, reflecting the shared missions of both institutions.

en-US Do you ever feel like you’re running on empty? Like no matter how much sleep you get or downtime you have you still feel exhausted? That’s because sleep is only one aspect of recovering from burnout.

This workshop explores ways to tap into creative, emotional, mental, physical, sensory, social, and spiritual rest as a way of holistically combatting the exhaustion and fatigue that comes with burnout. Learn how to recognize the signs of burnout, what a deficit in each rest tenet may look like and ways to restore balance.

This workshop is part of the Counseling and Psychological Services (CAPS) Well-Being Online Workshop series. Learn about CAPS and other workshops.

Self Management And Recovery Training (SMART Recovery) is an evidenced-informed recovery method grounded in Rational Emotive Behavioral Therapy (REBT) and Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), that supports people with substance dependencies or problem behaviors to:

  1. Build and maintain motivation
  2. Cope with urges and cravings
  3. Manage thoughts, feelings and behaviors
  4. Live a balanced life

SMART Recovery focuses on the addictive behaviors, not the substance – meaning they are suitable for any problematic or addictive behavior – including but not limited to alcohol, drugs, gambling, tobacco, as well as eating disorders.
