en-US The Pathways 2026: The Carlos Malamud Prize exhibition is a collaborative partnership between the UCF Art Gallery and the Rollins Museum of Art, celebrating emerging professional artists across Florida. Juried by a panel of three art professionals, this year’s exhibition features six artists with diverse practices, spanning a wide range of media, themes, and perspectives.

Works by all six finalists will be shown at both venues, creating opportunities to engage with two major academic communities. One artist will receive a $10,000 prize, a solo exhibition in 2027, and the opportunity to serve as a juror for the next edition, along with additional professional development support.

Pathways is designed to nurture emerging artists and provide a meaningful path forward, reflecting the shared missions of both institutions.

en-US The UCF Libraries invite STEM international graduate students to an in-person library orientation and tour of the Digital Exploration Center (DEC).

Date: Wednesday, Aug. 19

Time: 2–3:30 p.m.

Location: Room 223 (next to Barnie's Coffee on the main floor) 

This 90-minute event is open to both new and returning students. Attendees will learn about the many ways the UCF Library System supports them and their research.

Participants will also tour the DEC, an expansive 7,000-square-foot innovative research and exploration space that fosters creativity and discovery. The DEC is open to all current UCF students, faculty and staff.

en-US This group meets every Wednesday. May meet outdoors during building closures for holidays. 

NA is a non-profit fellowship of men and women for whom drugs have become a major problem. We meet regularly to help each other live drug-free. There are no dues or fees, the only requirement for membership is a desire to stop using. Our fellowship focuses primarily on recovery from the disease of addiction. Anyone may join us regardless of age, race, sexual identity, creed, religion, or lack of religion.
