en-US Academic Advancement Programs (AAP) invites you to this Pre-Health Thursday session featuring Maggie Rose from Vanderbilt School of Medicine for a workshop focused on how your extracurricular activities can give you a competitive edge in your medical school applications. In this session, you will learn how to strategically leverage your activities to strengthen your medical school applications. You'll learn how to effectively highlight shadowing experiences, research projects, volunteer work, and leadership roles that demonstrate your commitment to medicine. We'll cover strategies for showcasing the skills that medical school admissions committees prioritize and discuss how to articulate your experiences in personal statements and interviews.
