	"description": "\u003Cp\u003E\u0026ldquo\u003BA.C.T. because you care\u0026rdquo\u003B is based on the premise that micro\u002Dinfluencers who are easily recognized and relevant to the student population are able to encourage others to engage in well\u002Dbeing behaviors. The project strategy is based on identifying and engaging student influencers to prioritize health and well\u002Dbeing and act accordingly. The core foundation of this project is to build upon the natural influence that peers can have on each other. Thus, the curriculum teaches influencers well\u002Dbeing skills and intervention methods for emergency situations. Influencers can develop the skills to prevent harmful substance use behaviors and learn communication skills to foster supportive communities. Furthermore, the influencer training provides information on substance misuse and intervention strategies for substance misuse.\u0022\u003C/p\u003E\u000A\u003Cp\u003EThis training will be offered throughout the Spring 2025 semester in the Fraternity and Sorority Life\u0027s (FSL) Multi\u002Dpurpose room (MPR). The audience for these Spring semester trainings should be 15% of each chapter\u0027s new members from Spring 2024 and Fall 2024.\u003Cspan\u003E\u0026nbsp\u003B\u003C/span\u003E\u003Cstrong\u003EChapters have 11 training opportunities\u0026nbsp\u003Bto achieve this requirement.\u0026nbsp\u003B\u003C/strong\u003E\u003C/p\u003E\u000A\u003Cp\u003E\u003Cstrong\u003EIf your chapter did NOT meet the minimum requirements for Fall 2024, you are expected to complete the Fall 2024 requirement before any events are approved. Then, you must also complete the requirement for Spring 2025.\u003Cspan\u003E\u0026nbsp\u003B\u003C/span\u003E\u003C/strong\u003E\u003Cspan\u003EThe requirement for Fall 2024 was initiated members, where c\u003C/span\u003Ehapters under 50 members sent 2 members, and Chapters over 50 sent 4 members. It is preferred that 1 officer attend one session.\u003C/p\u003E\u000A\u003Cp\u003EIn\u002Dperson sessions have a maximum attendance (approx. 25 attendees) therefore, attendees must RSVP for their preferred session. Although walk\u002Dins are accepted, priority will be given to those who RSVP\u0027d.\u003C/p\u003E\u000A\u003Cp\u003EThis training will be offered throughout the Spring 2025 semester in the Fraternity and Sorority Life\u0027s (FSL) Multi\u002Dpurpose room (MPR).
