en-US Academic Advancement Programs (AAP) invites you to this Pre-Health Thursday session featuring Cate Jackson from the AAMC (Association of American Medical Colleges) for a workshop on crushing your med school application. This workshop breaks down everything you need to know about the game-changing resources from the AAMC that'll give you an edge. The AAMC administers the MCAT exam and oversees the application service for MD schools – so you'll hear it from the source! 

Plus, we'll hook you up with insider knowledge on essential resources like what to expect for the MCAT exam, summer programs, the PREview exam, fee assistance programs, MSAR (the database to help curate your school list), and financial aid tools.

 Want to make impactful connections with employers aligned to your major, learn about their internships and jobs, and grow your professional network? 

 This session will detail the Knight Shadow Program - a job shadowing program offered during the academic breaks (summer break, winter break, spring break).

 Knight Shadow Student participants shadow employers and industry professionals located in Central Florida, and throughout the state of Florida, to gain insight into career options.  
Winter Break Session Program dates are -December 9 & December 10
