en-US Led by Ben Lieser, hornist and professor, UCF’s brass ensemble includes student musicians from the horn, trumpet, trombone, and tuba and euphonium studios. Each ensemble brings a unique sound that enriches the audience experience, from the low rich sounds of the euphonium to the bright sounds of the trumpet.

Patrons who do not have tickets for another same-day UCF Celebrates the Arts event at Dr. Phillips Center must register for a free lobby pass.

Elle’s dreams of settling down after college graduation are cut short when her boyfriend Warner breaks up with her to attend Harvard Law. Devastated and determined to get him back, Elle pulls together an unconventional application and charms her way into Harvard Law. At first, she struggles to fit in. But then, with the help of some new friends, Elle discovers something much better than Warner’s approval—a new sense of self—one who’s ready to take on the world!

Amazingly fun and full of show-stopping song and dance numbers, Legally Blonde is an award-winning musical based on the beloved movie of the same name.

From the time-honored excellence of Dr. Miller’s ensembles to the contemporary brilliance of the Knights Chorale, this concert is a comprehensive celebration of the human voice in all its forms.

The Foundation of Excellence: SoAl and TeBa
The program proudly highlights the SoAl (Soprano-Alto) and TeBa (Tenor-Bass) choirs under the distinguished leadership of Dr. Kelly Miller. As the long-standing pillars of the UCF choral department, these ensembles bring their trademark precision, passion, and storied tradition to the stage with a curated selection of masterful choral works.

A Modern Masterpiece: Knights Chorale
The Knights Chorale (formerly known as the Chamber Choir) will perform the evening’s centerpiece: Elaine Hagenberg’s stunning work, Illuminare. Using Greek, Latin, and English texts, Illuminare guides the audience through a transformative journey from darkness into light—a powerful, transcendent piece known for its lush harmonies and soaring emotional depth.

New Horizons: The Premiere of Cantilena and Coro Profundo
Under the direction of Dr. Jeffrey Redding, we invite you to witness the debut of two brand new ensembles that represent the growth and future of our program:

  • Cantilena: The premiere of our vibrant new Soprano-Alto choir.
  • Coro Profundo: The premiere of our powerful and resonant Tenor-Bass ensemble.
