The 403-acre park is home to at least 43 species of birds, including the American oystercatcher, bald eagle and piping plover. We'll kayak through protected estuaries, explore shorelines and camp beachside under the stars. DESCRIPTION:About \n\nOutdoor Adventure is proud to partner with Ranger Rick's SCUBA Adventure, one of the most experienced scuba dive outfitters, for our entry-level NAUI SCUBA certification course. This course is available to students currently enrolled at UCF. \n\nUpon successful completion of this course and checkout dives, graduates are considered competent to engage in open-water diving activities without supervision, provided the diving activities and areas dived approximate those in training. No previous SCUBA experience is required; however, basic swimming skills are necessary to complete the course. \n\nCost   \nThe total cost of the certification is $380, with $40 due at registration. The rest of the price is due the first weekend of the certification, paid to Ranger Rick SCUBA Adventures. If you pay by card, there is an additional $5 fee, bringing the total to $385. \n\nSchedule \n\nTo receive SCUBA certification, participants must complete two consecutive weekends of training. The first weekend includes classroom work and pool practice dives. Normally, the first weekend includes Friday night, all day Saturday and all day Sunday.
