Movie Night: The Florida Project and Speaker Panel

Thursday, November 15, 2018 6 p.m. to 9 p.m.

Join us for a speaker panel with community agency representatives who assist our central Florida homeless population. After the panel will be a screening of  The Florida Project. This documentary brings Metro Orlando’s homeless reality to the big screen. Set on a stretch of highway just outside the imagined utopia of Disney World, The Florida Project follows six-year-old Moonee and her rebellious mother Halley over the course of a single summer. The two live week to week at “The Magic Castle,” a budget hotel managed by Bobby, whose stern exterior hides a deep reservoir of kindness and compassion.1000 Link Points!
