Martin Luther King Jr. Parade | MSC X LEAD Scholars Academy

Saturday, January 19, 2019 9 a.m. to noon

Dr. Martin Luther King, Jr. was an integral part of the Civil Rights Movement which laid the foundation for the equality of treatment and opportunity enjoyed in America and around the world today. The theme for the 2019 parade celebration is

King’s Vision: Humanity tied in a Single Garment of Destiny”.

In remembrance of Dr. King's life and legacy, we are joining the City of Orlando and the Southwest Orlando Jaycess in the parade. We are hopeful that the 2019 parade and celebration will remind our everyone “the most precious gifts in life must never be taken for granted.”

The parade is on Saturday, January 19th, at 10 AM. It will take place on Orange Avenue. The bus will leave no later than 9 AM from the UCF Student Union Busloop if you need transportation.
