Guest Artist Maria Serkin, horn, presents a recital and masterclass.

Maria Serkin is an active performer and pedagogue. Currently, Dr. Serkin is the Assistant Professor of Horn at the University of North Carolina School of the Arts. Previously, she was the Lecturer of Horn at the University of Virginia and the Principal Horn of the Charlottesville Symphony. Dr. Serkin has also held the positions of Principal Horn with the Florida Grand Opera, Palm Beach Symphony, and the Sarasota Orchestra, Horn Professor of the New World School of the Arts, and was a fellow with the New World Symphony in Miami Beach.
