Networking Group Career Cluster

Tuesday, January 29, 2019 3 p.m. to 4 p.m.

A vital, and often overlooked, part of the job search is networking. Learn how to converse professionally with employers and contacts at career fairs and other networking opportunities. This workshop will help you know what to say to employers to sell your skills, settle your nerves, and put you in the mindset of an employer.

Make sure you bring your student ID and a written and rehearsed pitch to this session to get session credit. Session doors will close at 3 p.m. Attendees must come early (at least 15 minutes prior to session) to check-in. Attendees arriving at 3:00 p.m. are considered late.

You must sign-in at the event using your student ID and cannot be late.
Attending when the session begins is arriving late. Doors will close at the start time. Arrive early and that is arriving on time. To get credit a student must arrive at least 15 minutes prior to the session start time
