Black History Month 2019 presents the Stage Reading of "In The Midst of Metal Clouds"

Sunday, February 24, 2019 6:30 p.m. to 8:30 p.m.

In the Midst of Metal Clouds is the story of a survivor of police brutality, a police officer, and a prosecutor are forever changed during the trial of a century as they struggle to understand their shared destiny, trauma, healing and roles as Black people in America. The play addresses the realities, known and unknown, of being Black in America from a millennial perspective and was written and directed by UCF students and alumni. Following the theatrical protest there will be a talk-back about topics addressed during the reading. Come and be a part of our journey for Black History Month as we celebrate our culture.
