Free Mold-making and Casting Workshop

Anyone interested in 3-D mold making and/or casting multiples are invited but all are welcome!
Ms. Amee Whitt, an Art Materials Specialist from Reynolds Advanced Materials in Orlando, will discuss and demonstrate basic mold-making and casting in VAB 165B from 2:00-5:00pm on on Friday, March 22, 2019.
Workshop Highlights:
When to use which type of mold:
- Brush-On rubber molds with mother molds
- 1 and 2 part molds
- Lifecasting
- Foams, sealants & mold releases
- Pourable plastics and resins
We'll also discuss:
- Epoxies Putties
- Cold casting additives: (glow in the dark and/or metallic powders, etc.)
- Special Effects prosthetics (casting and painting silicone)
